9.the opening of the photo exhibition "People and Mountains" by the well-known Estonian photographer, mountaineer and rescuer Jaan Künnap will take place at the Narva Central Library at 13.00.
The exhibition introduces visitors to the world of mountaineering, expeditions and people for whom mountains have become part of life. The exhibition includes photographs taken by the author during ascents and journeys in different years.
Jaan Künnap is a holder of the mountaineering honour "Snow Leopard", a long-time instructor and leader of an alpinism club, and the author of numerous photographic exhibitions and publications.
At the opening, the author will present his new autobiographical book "Several lives are better than one" and donate a copy to the Narva Central Library.
